The H family...Kansas Family Photographer
What an adorable family! I really enjoyed hanging out with them for the evening. The little guy wasn't really enjoying the evening but we got a few smiles anyway. It is always such an honor to be asked by another photographer to photograph their family, although it is a bit of pressure. We had a great time though and got some pretty pictures of them together. She is a great photographer herself and does some really fabulous work. I just love her weddings! Check her out here:)
Thanks for looking:)

They might just be the cutest little cowboys that I ever did see! We had such a fun little session to capture these two at age one and five!
We were all smiles until we put them together...brotherly love...haha:)

The B Family...Kansas Family Photographer
Such lovelies! I thoroughly enjoy photographing these guys. They are so much fun and these kids are just adorable! We were given a chilly, windy, and misty evening for our session, but we toughed it out and found a little relief from the wind. I just love the moody feel to these. I think it added depth and drama to them versus my usual bright and sunny shots. It is nice to be handed different cards once in awhile and see what you can do with what you are given. I just loved their outfits...too cute! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!

We had a gorgeous evening for this session and I'm so glad it worked out. I cannot control the weather and sometimes you just never know what you are going to get. Sometimes, though, the stars align and things turn out beautifully. We both traveled to meet up and we had fun playing in the alfalfa field owned by good friends of mine and family to them. To share a little background on this story, I was actually scheduled to photograph their little one for her one year birthday pictures February 1st, however, the flu struck our family during the week leading up to our session and just when I thought I was in the clear...BAM! UGH...I hate being sick. I didn't move out of my bed for days and needless to say we had to postpone our session. Well, a little time went by and not long after, they discovered something wrong with little R and through several doctor appointments and tests, they discovered she had cancer:( She has been such a trooper and made it through her treatments and we are all excited that she beat it! Praise the LORD! So, this session holds a very special place in my heart that I was able to photograph them and get to know their sweet little children. I pray for all those fighting this horrible disease!

The G boys...North Central KS Photographer
What a couple of cuties! We took these at their grandparent's farmstead and we had so much fun bouncing around to different parts of the farm. It is always fun to incorporate some meaningful places and things with your photographs. This farmstead has been in their family for generations and I'm sure there are many memories there for these boys and many more to come. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from our session on the farm.
Thanks for looking:)
