The D Family... Central Kansas Family Photographer

A windy and overcast fall day is definitely what we got for this session but these guys were troopers and we enjoyed our time together. I love seeing such warm family connections and being able to capture those connections for them. I loved that they brought out a quilt in memory of their son/brother to sit on. He was killed in a car wreck around Thanksgiving in 2001. He was such a wonderful person and I enjoyed his laughter and smile always! His memory will live on forever in the lives of many:) Hope you enjoy!

I think these were my two favorite images from our session. I loved the joy in their faces on the left and Grandpa with his oldest grandson is just precious to me!

These girls are just so precious! We get to see them most Sundays and they are just so sweet! It was a little chilly on this evening and a bit breezy so we kept it short and sweet, but that is the way most kids like it anyway:) Hope you enjoy! I loved their little red wagon:)

What a sweetie! I think this is the first time that a baby (other than newborns) has fallen asleep during a session. It was so sweet and she gave me a little smirk too! Love it:) I hope you enjoy a few from our session last fall.

The V Family...Central Kansas Family Photographer

Catching up some more from the Fall with another sweet family! I loved her choice of clothing for their family...lots of layers and beautiful colors. I might have to see if I could hire her to style my family for our next shoot! :) Although I have found that we have more available in our closets than it may seem. I make a game out of the challenge to find nearly all of them right here at home. I lay the outfits out on my bed and change it up until I'm happy. And then, if I am missing a few things, I know I'm only looking for a few specific things to complete the set. It is not as overwhelming to shop for one or two pieces as it is for new outfits for each member of our family. It is easier on the wallet too. :) Hope you enjoy this delightful session:) They were a joy!
