We had a pretty morning for this session that took place at their beautiful ranch. These two kids were so cute and fun to work with, as always! They had fun pretending that my crate was a boat. They flipped it over and got in and pretended to be pirates! Ahoy! And, I just adore the interaction between Dad and daughter:) I have a soft spot for little girls with their Dads, and she gave me the best eye contact during a quiet snuggle into his chest. The D Family...North Central Kansas Family Photographer

What a fun evening it was with this family. We had a good time bouncing from the pasture to a corn field and back to the garden. We almost didn't make it to the corn field because the mosquitoes about devoured us within a matter of minutes in the pasture. Luckily, we survived and were able to locate some deet and ward them off a little. We captured one year photos for their little man. He loves tractors:) I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from our session! Miss B...ONE year old!...North Central Kansas Child Photographer

This might just be one of my all time favorite newborn images...she is so content and so pretty. It is hard to believe she is already ONE! One year later and she's a mover and a shaker! We had a lot of fun at the end of her session. She really wasn't a very happy camper when she got a taste of her cake...LOL. I'm pretty sure it was yummy, I think the frosting all over her hands made her mad though. SO, we made the impromptu decision to try a little baby bath to get washed up at the end and she LOVED it. And...here is a little video of her having the time of her life:) Sweet laughs and pure joy:) LOVE IT!

Little E...6 months old...Central Kansas Baby Photographer

Oh, how I love watching them grow:) Here she is just days old for her Newborn session. And, 3 months here. And, now blogging her 6 month session. I am a little ashamed to say that we are almost ready for the 9 month session (I'm a wee bit behind on blogging...but forgive me, it has been a whale of a summer:)). Too many favorites not to share! Big brothers got in on some action too and they were so cute with her! I love watching siblings interact sweetly (emphasis on sweetly...mine like to interact not so sweet sometimes and that gets a little old. Anyway, on to the pretty pictures:))... Thanks for looking!

The W Family...North Central Kansas Family Photographer

What a sweet family! This was another morning session and it was a beautiful morning for it. I'm not sure how I've lucked out with so many beautiful days to shoot. I hope that doesn't mean I'm in for it this fall:):) I think I'll go knock on some wood...haha. And, you may start to think that mornings are my favorite and the only time I do sessions...but that is not the case. I shoot when the light is pretty for the location we choose, and a lot of times my clients with small children do better in the morning than in the evening when the sun doesn't set until 8 or 9 pm. But, in the fall, the days are shorter and evening probably wins as my favorite time, if possible. It is typically warmer in the evenings and the sun has that beautiful warm glow to it. I hope you enjoy a little peek into our session. We had a lot of fun and this little girl was just adorable:) Thanks for looking!
