The bigger, the better... Kansas Child Photographer

Ok, so perhaps that is not always true. But these balloons are huge and they were so much fun:) We went out and played with them several times since they stayed up for about a week. I've been wanting to do this shoot since my baby was 9 months old but I ended up putting it off until he turned one. Well, in July he was insisting on a ridiculously early bedtime (which isn't all bad), teething AND it was triple digit temperatures well into the evening...OH and the landscapes were all suffering from the drought. I know, excuses are like...:) On to the balloons...I'm glad we finally got it done, although I have to give some credit to my friend Dena Sorensen and her mad photography and baby entertaining skills. Also the balloons came from the incredibly flexible and patient Brandi McClure at our local Galas Galore party/gift shop (I changed my mind just a few times on when to do this shoot...sheesh...get it together Sarah!) And last but not least...my wonderful husband for entertaining the children who weren't being photographed and helping to transport props and children (the balloons took up my entire van- minus my spot to drive:)). photo credit top right and middle: Dena Sorensen
